Happy Thanksgiving! đŚÂ (Harvest Moon for SNES)

Harvest Moon for the Super Nintendo dropped in North America in 1997, right at the tail end of the SNES era, and it flipped the usual âbeat the bossâ formula on its headâyou werenât saving the world, you were saving a rundown farm. You cleared fields, planted crops, raised cows and chickens, and juggled relationships with the townsfolk, all while racing against the seasons to build the farm of your dreams. No multiplayer, no online, just you, a handful of tools, and the clock ticking toward winter. It kicked off a franchise that would see updates on the Game Boy in 1998 and later on the N64, but the SNES original is still the one that made people realize gaming could be chill, addictive, and rewarding without a single fireball or shotgun in sight.
