One of my favorite games growing up! (DuckTales for NES)

DuckTales for the NES dropped in 1989, and if you were a kid with a controller back then, you know it slapped. Capcom took the Disney cartoon and turned it into a tight, side-scrolling platformer where you played as Scrooge McDuck pogo-jumping across five levels to collect treasure—from the Amazon to the Moon. The gameplay was simple but insanely addictive, and the soundtrack (yeah, the Moon theme) is still legendary. It was so good it spawned a Game Boy version in 1990, a sequel on NES in 1993, and even got a full remaster in 2013. For a lot of us, DuckTales wasn’t just a game—it was a Saturday morning cartoon you could actually play.
